The Bored Meeting

Alec Gumption Entered the boardroom at the Sensible Wood Company. And stared. 

The company’s CEO, Frederick Plank was sitting there, as normal, but on a wooden board. That wasn’t normal. 

Alec noticed all the chairs were in fact now wooden boards. 

“Morning, Fred, what’s with the boards?”

“Morning! What boards?”

“Er, well the one you are sitting on, for a start?”

Fred looked confused. He looked down at his board and then back at Alec. 

“It’s a chair. In the boardroom. I’ve decided that all boardroom chairs would in fact be boards.”

Then, the room spoke: 

“Yeah, and I’m bored.”
